Exciting internship opportunity with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire.

The Intern will receive wide-ranging experience in a high-paced policy and delivery environment at the forefront of policing, justice and public safety. The Intern will work with teams across the OPCC to undertake research, reviews, develop innovative approaches and critical assessment to support the delivery of key elements of the Northamptonshire Police and Crime Plan. This work will link to the Institute for Public Safety, Crime and Justice at the University of Northampton, offering opportunities for the Intern to be involved in the development of research and policy questions and the interpretation of research findings into practice. Areas of work that Interns are likely to become involved with include:

Assisting with policy development work
Attending meetings, conferences and seminars
Conducting literature reviews and web-based research
Assisting with the organisation of events, campaigns and news production
Monitoring academic, think tank and policy publications, news and social media to inform ideas creation, reviews and policy work
Administrative tasks (such as maintaining databases of contacts and resources etc)
