To support the Regional Communications team and the wider business to drive overall trust in the brand through effective communication, project work and team support. The role specifically involves providing dedicated support to the Regional Communications Officer in the North of England in delivering an on-going regional stakeholder engagement programme as well as working with the Regional Communications team and wider Communications department to activate campaigns and projects, both internally and externally.

Project work – lead

Oversee and implement specific projects as required by the Regional Communications team including a stakeholder engagement programme in North East & North West England (2 days a week).

Project work – support (remaining 3 days)

Assist the Regional Communications Officers (RCOs) in the delivery of projects and campaigns including the Community Football Programme.
Provide day to day support to franchisees and RCOs through the creation of letters, press releases and reports.
Build strong relationships with internal customers.
Support RCOs in their regions as required eg coordinating events, producing materials and attending meetings.
Host internal and external stakeholders at restaurant visits and events.

Co-ordination

Maintain and oversee a full suite of template collateral (press releases, advertorial copy etc), producing timely accurate materials on request and updating same on online channels.
Assist the team in delivering events to the business.

Media relations

Deal with and respond to planning and licensing press enquiries.
‘Back office’ research support by reading wide range of media including daily press cuttings.
