Following significant business growth over the last three months, The Whitehouse Consultancy is recruiting for an Intern to provide support on a range of accounts.

This is a tremendous opportunity for an individual interested in learning more about public affairs and who wants to work in a busy consultancy environment.

The internship will provide the successful candidate with a thorough understanding of Parliamentary processes, including legislative work, as well as research, campaigning and public affairs techniques. We pay all our interns the London Living Wage and the majority of our interns go on to secure full-time jobs in public affairs.

We are looking for someone with a passionate commitment to and interest in the political life of the United Kingdom.

Experience required

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Preferably some experience in Parliament, public affairs or a similar political environment.
• A practical understanding of the workings of Parliament.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An enthusiasm for politics and a desire to work in public affairs.

The applicant should be available to work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, for at least three months.
