We are looking for a motivated individual to help deliver our ParliaMentors leadership programme.

3FF is one of the UK’s leading intercultural organisations, working towards a fair and integrated society where people of different faiths, beliefs and cultures have positive and meaningful relations. Our work involves teachers, students and young professionals, faith organisations, artists and galleries, political leaders in Parliament and upcoming leaders still at university.

Winner of the UN Award for Intercultural Innovation, ParliaMentors equips emerging leaders from different backgrounds with the skills, networks and experience to be agents of positive change in their communities and in politics.

The Programmes Officer will work with the Programmes Manager and other Programmes Officer on all aspects of programme delivery and development. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing participant social action projects
  • Designing and delivering training
  • Leading participant and alumni engagement
  • Coordinating mentoring experiences with MPs
  • Supporting participants through regular advice and guidance, resolving any issues as they arise
  • Developing partnerships and maintaining stakeholder relationships in communities

It is essential to have sensitivity to the issues surrounding this area of work and a proven commitment to the aims of the 3FF, in particular the importance of engaging young people. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience of professional working in an office environment
  • Experience of planning and delivering events
  • Experience of working collaboratively and effectively as a team member
  • Effective communication skills
  • Working knowledge of social media and online communications
  • Ability to work with increased sensitivity, in particular, faith identity awareness
  • Leadership qualities including using own initiative
  • Creative problem solving skills
