Insight Public Affairs is an award-winning London-based political consultancy which provides government and parliamentary relations advice to FTSE 100 companies, leading charities, trade associations and other high-profile clients. The successful candidate would work to support Insight’s busy research team and provide support across a number of areas. We are looking for someone with previous experience in public affairs, politics or the civil service who is able to manage an extremely busy workload across a number of client teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring and analysis of political and policy announcements
Drafting briefings and written research
Data entry and stakeholder mapping
Supporting client teams as required

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Demonstrable interest in politics and public affairs
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage a number of projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
An enthusiastic team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent IT skills

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Educated to Degree level (2:1) preferable
