Job Details

Oxfam campaigns on a range of issues to overcome poverty and suffering and is looking for supporters to join our voluntary Constituency Campaigner Programme. Our current priority campaigns are inequality and climate change.

The Constituency Campaigner Programme offers you the opportunity to develop your political campaigning skills and to use these to influence local politicians and other decision makers. No previous experience is required but a genuine passion and commitment to improving the lives of those living in poverty is essential.

If selected, you will take part in our training programme, have the ongoing support of Oxfam staff, receive monthly updates and actions designed to help you engage and influence your MP on Oxfam’s campaign issues. There will be opportunities to attend Oxfam’s events and take part in campaign actions. If you’d like to take part in the programme, please apply via our website on www.oxfam.org.uk/ccp where you will find a role description and an application form. CV’s are not required as selection will be based on the application form and a short telephone interview.

W4MP Note:
The role being advertised is a voluntary one. As such, there are no set hours and responsibilities and you should be free to come and go as you wish. If the post demands set hours and/or has a specific job description you may be deemed to be a ‘worker’ and be covered by National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage legislation.
