The role and requirements

The LGA pensions team is looking for an experienced pensions professional to join the team to work on Firefighters’ Pensions. You must have a good pensions’ technical knowledge, preferably of the current Firefighters’ Pensions schemes and an understanding of the reformed scheme being introduced next year. If you have experience in managing projects, managing relationships and can bring innovative ideas to help fire authorities prepare for 2015 then we want to hear from you.

The post is for a fixed period until 31 March 2015 with a view to making the post permanent, subject to funding. We would also consider applicants for whom this would be a secondment opportunity.
