A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Conference Producer to join Inside Government, a leading organiser of policy led forums for practitioners in the public sector.

Inside Government has unrivalled access to a wide range of expert speakers. These include politicians, policy-makers, sector experts and practitioners, and all possess extensive knowledge and experience in their respective fields.

With dedicated staff and excellent research capabilities, we produce and offer events that allow our attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest policy and the opportunity to discuss pertinent topics with a panel of speakers, policy experts, and fellow delegates.

We are looking for a hard-working, knowledgeable, intelligent and commercially astute individual with some experience of programme and events management to join our young and ever expanding team and company, based in our London offices.

The position represents a fantastic opportunity for those interested in further developing within the public policy events industry and a clear path for potential career progression within the division and company.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Full management of planning and organising a series of high profile forums
• Inviting and confirming high profile speakers from across the public sector
• Conducting industry research to formulate commercially successful events
• Writing web copy on each forum and event
• Developing and building harmonious relationships with sponsors, public sector and other sector speakers and associations
• Generating commercial successful ideas that will appeal to both practitioners and suppliers

The successful candidate will need:
• Previous conference production and management experience
• A strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude
• The ability to translate policy effectively and concisely
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to understand the commercial implications of public policy
• An ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines and targets
• To be highly motivated and organised with the ability to multi-task
• A proven track record of producing high-quality work
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A great team player with an ambitious and positive attitude
