We are a young and growing public affairs consultancy specialising in property and development. Our clients are predominantly FTSE 350 quoted house builders, commercial developers and retailers seeking planning consent. We work on sensitive development projects on sites throughout the UK providing communications advice to some of the biggest names in the UK development industry.
We are looking for an outgoing and talented candidate to join our team as an Account Executive. Initiative, drive and a desire to help the company continue to grow are all important attributes.
The successful candidate will:
• Have experience of either: working for a public affairs company, working in local government, working in Westminster, or working on a campaign
• Have excellent written and verbal communication
• Have a keen eye for detail
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Have political acumen and an understanding of local politics
• Have a degree in relevant subject (e.g. Politics, History, Philosophy)
As an Account Executive you will take a high level of responsibility from the outset – liaising directly with clients, producing written communication and supporting new business development.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing excellent client relationships
• Fostering relations with media, politicians and any relevant interest groups
• Drafting newsletters, contact reports, press releases and exhibition material
• Identifying new business opportunities
• Event management (including both client and SP Broadway events)
