We are seeking two enthusiastic policy officers to the join the Health and Parliamentary Policy & Insight Teams at the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO). This is an exciting time to join our offices; we have recently launched our strategy for 2013-18, More Impact for More People, and have developed a supporting Strategic Plan for delivering our new strategic aims and objectives. 

As a Policy and Insight Officer you will be working as part of a newly established External Affairs directorate and will be at the centre of health and parliamentary policy development at PHSO. You will support the implementation of the Policy and Insight strategy to improve complaints systems. You will work with stakeholders across the NHS and Parliament to raise awareness of the Ombudsman and influence policy.  You will bring to our work intelligence about what is happening in the post-Francis policy and wider public service reform landscape to support the development of key policy and influencing programmes.

You will work across directorate and organisational functions to support policy and influencing projects to enable us to deliver our strategic priorities.
