We are looking for a dynamic self-starter to manage our digital outreach and campaigning, database and provide general administrative support for the Yachad office. The role will be based in Kings Cross at the Yachad offices. Initially it will be a part-time, three day a week role, with a view to it becoming a full-time role if funds permit. Ideally the candidate will have been involved in Yachad’s work, and will have a good understanding and experience of using a wide range of on-line platforms.

Tasks 

 - Managing and maintaining Yachad website: Working with the Yachad team to ensure the website is up-to-date
-Managing supporter communications: Building and sending all supporter communications through our email tools
- Managing digital campaigns: Managing all areas of Yachad’s digital campaigning including the building and developing of Yachad’s campaigns on-line through the Engaging Networks programme
 - Database management: Management of Yachad’s database including ensuring the database is kept-up-to-date and is regularly cleaned
 - Office management: Ensuring the office is properly equipped with required stationary and equipment. Helping to keep computer software updated.
 - Administration: Working with Yachad development manager and director to ensure all donor administration is kept up-to-date. Supporting all other administrative tasks as and when required

Skills and experience required:

• Good understanding of the work of Yachad
• Good understanding and knowledge of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
• Experience of using social media platforms and developing a good online presence through Twitter, Facebook and ideally other platforms.
• Ability to easily learn how to use a wide variety of digital technology
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is a significant advantage
• Interest in campaigning
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team and with other volunteers and activists
• A self-starter that is able to take initiative and work independently on new projects
• Good organisational skills
