This is an exciting opportunity to join Macmillan’s award winning Campaigns team and become a force for change for people affected by cancer. From calling for secure extra support for cancer carers to campaigning on welfare reform, we have a proven track-record for delivering innovative and impactful influencing campaigns, which achieve change to policy and practice. We are looking for an Assistant Campaign Officer to coordinate the day to day running of Macmillan’s mass network of e-campaigners and help with the implementation of Macmillan’s campaigns.

Having worked in a campaigning charity, you'll have strong written and verbal communication skills and experience of coordinating a mass network of campaign supporters. You’ll excel in delivering excellent customer experience and have the ability to implement initiatives to recruit, retain and develop our campaigners. A good knowledge of database management is required with experience of using the Engaging Networks software an advantage.

You will assist with planning and coordinating campaigns and be skilled at building effective relationships to ensure that internal and external stakeholders are engaged in our work. You will have experience of coordinating campaigns using a variety of tools and methods, particularly e-campaigning, and a good understanding of project management.
