This internship offers a perfect opportunity for someone interested in developing their knowledge and experience of fundraising and research in the charity sector.

As a Fundraising Research Intern you will get involved in a specific project for three months.

The intern will work closely with the fundraising research coordinator and the corporate partnerships team. The fundraising research intern will play an important part in supporting the department's 'New Business Sector Research'; this strategically important project aims to identify new prospects and business sectors for the Corporate Partnerships team to approach.

This will include both qualitative and quantitative data collection from various databases and resources, analysis and presentation to the Corporate Partnership Team.

What we are looking for
You need to have good interpersonal, attention to detail, communication and teamwork skills although full training can be given for any technical requirements.

Also someone who has:
Competent computer literacy (Word, Excel, Email, Internet)
Have a very good attention to detail and ability to write concisely and accurately in English
Experience or knowledge of handling and interpreting numerical information
Experience of involvement in projects and demonstrable ability to use own initiative
Administration/support experience, ideally within an office environment
Able to prioritise and work under pressure, to tight deadlines, balancing short- term reactive demands with longer-term team needs
Strong interpersonal skills, along with proven ability to develop good working relationships
A knowledge and interest in charity fundraising, particularly corporate partnerships and CSR activities

The intern will be based at UKO office, 44 Moorfields, London, EC2Y 9AL. This internship will last three months working three days each week.
