Here at Transaid, we deliver a variety of exciting fundraising events and appeals including our annual Africa Challenge and European Cycle Ride, and various industry awards ceremonies. As an Events Intern, you will become an essential member of our marketing team and gain some fantastic experience in all areas of event management and marketing.
Job Purpose
To support the Marketing and Events Team with the expansion of our portfolio of events, as well as to maximise income and awareness of Transaid through our existing events and appeals.
We are looking for someone to join us for three months, three days per week to assist with the administration, logistics and marketing of Transaid’s events.
This role will require a proactive, reliable and organised individual who will follow things through till the end. You will need to be a confident, clear communicator comfortable in speaking to a wide range of people. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in developing a career in events coordination, who will take full advantage of the amazing opportunity which this internship can offer.
This is a voluntary position and is unpaid. Transaid will provide a daily lunch allowance and reasonable travel expenses (within zones 1-6).
