Job Details

Scope exists to make this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. With a general election less than a year away and economic recovery taking hold, we are ready to grasp the opportunity to raise disabled people’s living standards in Britain. We need to address the extra costs disabled people face, create employment opportunities and improve support to live independently. Underlying all of this we need to shift the attitudes that make daily life harder than it needs to be.

We’re building a new External Affairs Department to drive Scope’s influence, profile and reputation and we’re looking for the very best talent to drive our strategy and deliver social change. Joining us at this exciting time, you’ll use your social research skills to deliver essential, impact-focused research that makes a genuine difference to disabled people’s lives.

Reporting to the Research Manager, you’ll take responsibility for designing and delivering quantitative and qualitative research projects that underpin Scope’s work on disabled people’s living standards. You’ll be dynamic, hard-working and focused on delivering results. You’ll have strong analytical and research skills, with a solid grasp of statistical techniques, and be adept at working with research partners from a range of organisations to achieve shared goals.

Closing Date: 18 September 2014
