We are looking for a highly organised and professional PA and Office Manager to support the work of the Chief Executive and ensure the smooth running of the office. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, with substantial contact with BSA member companies and other key stakeholders.
Key Tasks:
- Day to day management of the Chief Executive’s diary, organising meetings, telephone correspondence
- Office management responsibilities such as bill processing, managing suppliers and subscriptions, processing post
- Maintaining and developing office systems and filing
- Developing good working relationships with BSA member companies
- Ensuring the office is fully equipped and supplied
- Planning and managing the BSA’s annual dinner
The successful applicant will have:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Experience of liaising with a variety of contacts and stakeholders
- Previous experience of working in a PA and/or Office Manager role (experience of event planning is an advantage)
- The ability to work to tight deadlines, manage competing priorities, and have an eye for detail
- The ability to work autonomously, on their own initiative, as well as in a team
- Strong IT skills
