Naz Shah MP seeks to recruit a Senior Secretary in the Bradford office.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who has the ability to work independently, is able to use judgement and work as part of a wider case management team; you must also be sympathetic to the Labour Party’s aims and beliefs.

You will possess excellent communication skills, be IT literate and demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm. Knowledge and skills in diary management are essential as well as an ability to deal sensitively with members of the public and you will possess a good understanding of case work and confidentiality.

Your responsibilities will include providing secretarial support to Bradford office, maintain files, records and appointment diary, take office calls, administrative support and manage MP’s diary. As well as provide case work support.

The post is initially funded until 31st March 2016 and is subject to satisfactory references and six months performance and probationary period.
