Role description: The Nations and Regions Campaign Managers will be accountable for the delivery of grassroots campaign activity, volunteer recruitment and stakeholder engagement in their region. Campaign Managers will work as part of the Field Operations Team to develop and deliver all of the campaign’s strategic objectives within their area. Successful applicants will also be responsible for managing and motivating a team of professional campaigners and volunteers.
There will be 12 roles across the UK, in the following locations:
• East Midlands
• East of England
• London
• North East England
• North West England
• South East England
• South West England
• West Midlands
• Yorkshire & Humber
• Scotland
• Wales
• Northern Ireland
Essential Experience
• Proven track record of delivering campaigns at a national or regional level
• Leading and motivating a team of professionals and volunteers
• Building relationships with key stakeholders from a range of different organisations
• Ability to build relationships with local and regional media outlets
Desirable experience
• Experience of a modern on-the-ground campaign techniques
• Development and delivery of training programmes for staff and volunteers
• Budgetary and resource planning
• Event management
• Working in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines
Personal skills and attributes
• A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to inspire and motivate others
• A good team player with a commitment to sharing knowledge, best-practice
• Influencing, negotiation and relationship management skills
