The Britain Israel Communications and Research Centre (BICOM) is seeking to appoint a research analyst.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the research activities of an organisation with a reputation for producing high-quality research and analysis about Israel and the Middle East. You will have the opportunity to work on strategic assessments, research briefings, a Daily Brief read by thousands of people in the UK and abroad, as well as Fathom – our successful and highly respected academic journal with 150,000 readers around the world.

The job will appeal to an applicant with a relevant degree or experience in the field of international relations, Middle East history or politics who enjoys working on high-profile issues and has excellent understanding of Israel and the Middle East.

Working closely with the Director of Research and Editor of Fathom, candidates should be adept at dealing with immediate issues in a fast-paced news environment. The post requires first class writing and editing skills as well as knowledge of social media platforms.
