ICS aims to bring about three things: project impact, volunteer personal development and the creation of active citizens.

Change your life and the lives of others.

  • You’ll receive training and support before working as a team with local volunteers finding solutions to issues within a community

Your Impact

With Raleigh ICS, you will focus on improving people’s access to water and sanitation, or supporting women and young people to set up small businesses and improve their livelihoods
You will contribute to sustainable development and make a real difference to the lives of people living in poverty

What's in it for you?

  • You’ll build your CV and develop transferrable skills that employers value such as leadership, resilience, and flexibility
  • It’s a life-changing opportunity

ICS is a development programme that brings together young people from the UK and developing countries to volunteer in some of the poorest communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The programme is led by VSO and funded by the UK government. ICS is delivered by respected development organisations, of which Raleigh is one.
