Job Details

DARROW is Scotland’s only Creative Commons magazine.

Built in Scotland, we do not observe borders. From Alba to China we have writers across the world committed to synthesising enthusiasm, expertise and giving a voice to all.

We believe that every writer has a unique perspective to share and we offer opinion and analysis on the arts, culture and politics, both at home and abroad.

As promoting our writers, our content, and our ethos all go hand in hand, our articles can be reposted, freely, to other forums, including blogs, websites and printed sources.

We are committed to engaging Scotland and the world with innovative writing, credible analysis and lively debate.

We are looking for enthusiastic writers to contribute to our expanding site and who are particularly interested in individuals who:
– Have ideas and vision to write articles that increase our readership.
– Can draft comment or opinion pieces of 400-600 words.
– Can draft longer analysis pieces between 800-1200 words.
– Can draft single issue blog pieces or articles between 100-400 words.
– Can write about the latest developments both in Scotland, across the UK and the world.
