The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Head of Press & Broadcasting to join their Communications team. Reporting into the Executive Director for Strategy and Communications, the successful candidate will assist with the development of media strategies to promote the policies and activities of the Labour Party, and will provide management and leadership to the press team.

The successful candidate should have experience of managing and leading staff, extensive knowledge of the media both regionally and nationally, experience of writing high-quality press releases and other briefing materials, and the ability to work proactively as part of a team.

Please note, this role is a fixed term contract until 31st December 2016.
