Job Details
Afghans make up the second largest refugee population within Europe. However, these victims have fallen off the international agenda due to other crisis in the region as well as western fatigue with the ongoing military presence in Afghanistan. Our ambition is to empower, educate and unite these refugees to ensure they are not forgotten. We aim to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to exercise their rights and to achieve their potential for success and prosperity in the UK. We also work to promote human rights and democracy amongst the diaspora and in Afghanistan itself to help create a safer environment for those who have not already been forced to leave their homeland.
There are many positions available, so see the website for further information:
http://acaa.org.uk/index.php/volunteering.
