Mumsnet is on the look-out for a bright, pro-active, hard-working intern to join the Press & Campaigns team.

This is a unique opportunity to work with an energetic and innovative group of people, and to gain skills and experience that will look fantastic on any CV. We’re always in the market for talented people - so there may be an opportunity for the right candidate to join us full-time at the end of the internship.

During your time with us, you'll learn about all aspects of our organisation, and gain specific experience in the following areas:

• Working in a busy press office
• Campaigning - from the spark of the idea to its launch
• Web editing and content management systems

To do this job you'll need to:

• have a degree from a UK university, or equivalent
• have a demonstrable interest/ability in press, PR or campaigns
• love social media and have an interest in topics that matter to the Mumsnet audience
• have a positive attitude and be prepared to take on responsibility
• have a cracking sense of humour
• have excellent grammar and spelling and fearsome organisational skills
• be truly proactive, have sound judgement and be able to handle time and workload pressures
• be enthusiastic and thorough with research tasks

This is a 6-month internship, with a London Living Wage salary (£1,527.50 per month).

The role is five days a week, and based in our offices in Kentish Town.
