Do you have good interpersonal skills or experience in a caring profession, and feel able to take calls from distressed people? If so we would like to hear from you.
The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre are currently recruiting female volunteers for their National Rape Crisis helpline supporting survivors of rape and sexual abuse. The positions are based at their Croydon centre.
We will provide you with free accredited training from the London Open College Network.
If you feel you have an open mind and can listen, are empathic and pragmatic and have the time and enthusiasm to make a commitment to working with us for three hours a week for at least one year please phone or email us to be forwarded an application pack with full position details.

Interview/Start Dates
All helpline volunteers are provided with a mandatory training progamme which is accredited by the Open College Network. The training takes place over twelve consecutive Saturdays, starting on the 10th of September.
