4 Month internship, up to 4 days a week (flexible hours)
We are looking to recruit a resourceful and enthusiastic intern to help with:
• Publicity design, website, social media and images, written publications (30%)
• Supporting the Director with research, logistics, admin (40%)
• Helping with event logistics and supporting ongoing projects within the team (30%)
Responsibilities include:
Design and communications: Designing publicity material, effectively communicating the charity's message through online channels; using social media to publicise events and programmes; writing copy for the website and other promotional materials; managing Google Ad-words; monitoring social media stats; locating images and maintaining image library.
Supporting the Director: Research tasks; office support helping coordinate team activities; responding to messages and enquiries; looking after guests; keeping the database of contacts up to date.
Project support: Supporting events for project leaders; being part of the life of the team.
Skills
Essential:
• Resonance with the aims and ethos of the Centre
• Good techincal skills - able to pick up new systems quickly
• Design skills, creative flair, love of images and photos
• Good social media knowledge
• Ability to pick up new things quickly, take on responsibility and act on own initiative
• Able to juggle both high and low level tasks alongside each other
• Able to build relationships with all team members
