About WebRoots
WebRoots Democracy are the first and only organisation in the United Kingdom to campaign for the introduction of online voting in Local and General Elections.

In addition to this, we are an organisation that intends to reverse growing political apathy and low electoral turnout in the UK, particularly amongst young people. Whilst political apathy has a variety of causes, we recognise that we live in an age of distraction and rapid technological advances. As such, we are also campaigning for an accessible, informative, and interactive election website to help reach out to new voters.

WebRoots Democracy are picking up momentum in the media, in Parliament and on the streets. We are now looking for voluntary writers to be a part of this.

About the role
You will have an with an interest in political apathy, online voting, plus an ability to write persuasive content surrounding these topics.

You would be providing blog content on an adhoc basis, to be published under your name via the WebRoots website and social media pages.

We are looking for quality over quantity and for experienced writers with a keen interest in digital democracy. This is not just an opportunity to enhance your CV and work portfolio. You could be involved with changing the face of British Democracy for the better.

The campaign for online voting starts with WebRoots.

WebRoots Democracy is an independent, non-partisan organisation.
