About the organisation:
EgyptWatch is an effort by human rights defenders to bring to policy-makers attention the plight of all victims of human rights violations in Egypt. We advocate for an end to human rights violations against any Egyptian. We are a small but ambitious platform that seeks to launch effective and innovative campaigns for the oppressed in Egypt.

Job brief:
We are looking for a Campaigns Manager for EgyptWatch. You will lead the campaigning and advocacy efforts of the organisation from our office in London.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public affairs consultancy and will be an excellent networker with a passion for human rights causes.

Responsibilities:

• Design an effective short-term and long-term campaigning and advocacy strategy for the organisation.
• Coordinate all parliamentary, NGO and media outreach efforts on behalf of the organisation.
• Act as a point person for the organisation with its parliamentary and NGO contacts.

Requirements:

• Experience as a human rights campaigner or public affairs consultant.
• Outstanding leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Undergraduate and post-graduate degree in public affairs or a related field.
• Full-time commitment to EgyptWatch.
