The Conflict Comment is recruiting freelance/contributing writers.

www.theconflictcomment.com is a website aimed to educate and stimulate perspective on international conflicts and issues surrounding the topic, written by both aspiring and qualified journalists/writers.

Articles on the website are designed to inform readers through both an objective and subjective angle. The website includes features, commentary, reports and reviews. Journalism experience is not vital, however you must be passionate about the topic and writing. 

Articles are between 600-1,300 words, depending on section and topic. A distribution list is sent out monthly, however writers are encouraged to pitch their own ideas also. 

Please note this position is unpaid.

The role is ideal for students, graduates and MA students who take keen interest in international conflict, politics, development and human rights.

The role being advertised is a voluntary one. As such, there are no set hours and responsibilities and you should be free to come and go as you wish.
