ROLE OVERVIEW
Hanover Communications is looking for a junior practitioner for their healthcare team. Hanover’s health team work with some of the world’s largest healthcare organisations including pharmaceutical companies and providers, as well as the NHS and charities, supporting them in navigating the changing political and policy landscape.

We are looking for an Account Executive with an understanding of UK politics and policy and an interest in health and the NHS. This full-time role is an important position in the healthcare team and provides:
– High-quality monitoring and intelligence to our Public Affairs and PR clients
– Drafting key materials including political and policy intelligence reports, agendas and action notes on client accounts
– Support organising events and meetings in Westminster for clients
– Research for new business development and pitches

This role will support a number of prestigious clients in our healthcare team and is based in our London office in Gray’s Inn Road.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
We are looking for a graduate (or equivalent) with the following skills:
– Excellent communication and writing skills
– An interest in UK politics and policy, particularly the changing NHS environment
– A ‘can-do’ attitude able to work across multiple projects at any one time
– Strong attention to detail and highly organised

Relevant internship or other relevant work experience from either a UK public affairs consultancy, communications agency or an in-house communications department is an advantage but not essential.
