We use all this information to influence service providers, policy makers and regulators through framing debates, asking insightful questions and providing thoughtful, innovative and evidence based solutions.

We are looking for a Policy Researcher to work within the Post and Telecoms team who can demonstrate good analytical and strong research skills across a range of methodologies. Your primary focus will be on telecoms policy. You must be comfortable working with complex, technical information and understand how to influence Government and decision-makers through both formal and informal routes, and be passionate about achieving meaningful policy change that improves outcomes for people.

You’re an outstanding communicator, with excellent written communication skills, able to think creatively about policy both as big picture and at the detailed implementation level. You will be comfortable in negotiating and persuading policy makers and service providers to make policy and operational changes that deliver consumer benefits. You’ll also be able to contribute to an inventive, responsible and generous team culture, so strong collaborative skills are essential.
