Job Details

The Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI) is a charity providing free high quality support services to small charities across the UK: http://www.thefsi.org.

Small charities make up the majority of the charitable sector but often struggle to have their voices heard without the same resources and budgets as larger organisations. At the FSI we try to facilitate a stronger voice for small charities by carrying out and publishing research.

The UK voted to leave the EU June 2016 and we are planning a research piece to investigate the impact of this on the small charity sector. To carry out our research piece we will be sending out surveys to all those small charities using our free services and we will also schedule between 5 to 10 face-to-face interviews with those that have completed the questionnaire.

We are looking for support from an experienced statistician to help us to analyse the data that comes back from our questionnaires so we are able to create a clear and comprehensive research report.

We require someone during January/February. We expect the work to take around 5 days but can be flexible around which dates these would be within January/February. Ideally we would like someone to come into our office to complete the work and we are open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
