This is a full-time, permanent role.

The Role

• To develop, direct and deliver a campaign’s strategy with clear objectives.
• To optimise MAP representation within advocacy/lobbying networks in the UK, Europe, Lebanon, Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory.
• To manage and produce MAP’s external communications and messaging including media output, website, social media and newsletters. As well as increase scope and content of MAP’s external communications across all platforms and represent MAP through the media, enhancing its image and profile.
• To manage a small team of 3, two based in the UK and one in West Bank.

The Candidate

• Will have relevant, recent and substantial experience of campaigning and advocacy, and of managing communications at a national and international level.
• Will have substantial experience of media briefing, generating print, online and broadcast coverage.
• Will have experience of direct influencing, raising issues through the media, working through alliances, and commissioning or managing research.
• Will have exceptional leadership, influencing and relationship management skills as well as strong public speaking and story writing, proof reading and copy editing skills.
