The Club Soda Guide is a new pub listing site showcasing Good Places for Mindful Drinkers. It launches in Hackney and the City of London this January, and we are looking for an energetic communicator with a campaigning background to help us get to launch!

You will be help develop our social media campaign, working with community organisations to get them motivated to do a #MindfulPubcrawl, as well as writing blogs and other online content, including pub and drinks reviews, handy inspirational lists, sober nights out, and more.
You are:

  • a confident self-starter who already knows or can quickly learn your way around social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram etc)
  • not scared of learning how to use several new tools to manage our social media and content (eg Tweepi, Mailchimp, Wordpress, Grum, Hootsuite)
  • curious about social media analytics and advertising and helping us navigate them
  • good English speaker and writer - a good grasp of sarcasm and dry humour will be helpful too
  • able to write emails and use mailchimp and write blog posts and investigate other websites to place them
  • not bored by some of the repetitive tasks that making the most of social media involves
  • with an eye for an interesting non-alcoholic drink, and ideas for alternatives to a boozy night out
  • interested or experienced in communicating with pubs and bars.

  • and there will be many other opportunities for tailored learning from specialist courses and mentoring from our partners and supporters Bethnal Green Ventures, TechHub, Google Campus etc;
  • all of this is part of a personal development programme that we will agree with you at the start of your time with us.
