For CRUK it’s vital that we ensure cancer is high on the political agenda. As the largest independent cancer research organisation in the world, we are uniquely placed to work with MPs and Peers to keep cancer high on the political agenda.
What you will be doing
In this role you will…
- Pull together weekly parliamentary monitoring for the team and assist with other ad-hoc monitoring, for example debates and parliamentary questions
- Support team events through logistics, communication and delivery
- Have the opportunity to contribute to drafting briefing materials for parliamentarians and the team
- Carry out small design projects when required
- Support communications for the team, including monitoring the team inbox, and communicating with MPs and Peers

- Some experience of political campaigning or public affairs work
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the role of Government, parliamentary processes and the voluntary sector
