We are looking for a proactive self-starter with excellent organisational and communication skills for our Senior Project Coordinator role.

This is a busy and fast paced role that requires a proactive individual with excellent organisational and communication skills who has significant experience in providing project coordination and executive level support at a senior level.

The successful candidate will be supporting a wide range of healthcare programmes and projects including Healthy Ageing, Healthy Children, Mental Health and Primary Care. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to being the first point of contact, drafting papers and presentations, circulating papers and agendas, managing events, developing and managing contact data base minute taking. The post holder will also be responsible for providing executive support and diary management to a Director of Strategic Development as well as deputising for the Managing Director’s Executive Assistant in her absence and providing cover for other Executive Assistants and Personal Assistants as required. Finally, post holder will be responsible for line managing Programmes Administrator and Project Support Officer including monitoring of their workload, objective setting, regular reviews, identifying development needs and conducting appraisals.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication, time and workload management skills, excellent accuracy and attention to detail, in addition to advanced knowledge of Windows packages. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to research and synthesise information, and produce high quality reports, presentations and briefings. The post holder will be expected to work autonomously while also being a member of a dynamic and diverse team. Previous line management experience or supervising staff will be needed within this role. Experience and/or understanding of academia and healthcare sector in addition to managing staff are desirable.
