Salary: £34,510 pro rata (part-time, 21 hours per week)

Pathology is at the heart of modern healthcare. Pathologists work to prevent, diagnose, treat and monitor diseases to keep people as healthy as possible.
The Royal College of Pathologists is recruiting a Public Affairs Officer to join its busy London-based Communications team.
Working with colleagues and pathologists, you will raise awareness and understanding of the vital role of pathology across Westminster, Whitehall and the devolved administrations.
Building on effective parliamentary engagement and successful campaigns, you will contribute to the development of our public affairs work to ensure we continue to strengthen our political and stakeholder relationships.
With excellent writing and communication skills, you will have a thorough grasp of parliamentary procedure and strong influencing and networking skills.
