Job Details

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong event organising, promotion and logistics skills interested in working for an organisation that campaigns for a broader approach to global security.

The Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) is a UK-based organisation working to end the destructive force that is the international arms trade. The arms business has a devastating impact on human rights and security, and damages economic development. CAAT is a growing NGO with a supporter base that's expanding as global issues linked to the arms trade become ever more prevalent.

We are seeking a Training and Events Co-ordinator to join our team for three and a half days a week. The main responsibilities include:

  • Co-ordinating engaging events, actions and training
  • Promoting involvement in our actions and events
  • Building sustainable relationships and networks

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, able to deliver tailored training, have a strategic approach to project planning, and event management and campaigning experience. In addition, we are looking for someone who supports the aims of the organisation and is able to work in a non-hierarchical setting.

If you would like to make a positive impact working alongside colleagues committed to ending the arms trade, we would love to hear from you.

Closing Date: 5 February 2017

Interview/Start Dates

We hope to interview candidates week commencing 20 February and for the successful candidate to start as soon after that as possible.
