We currently have a vacancy within our Information and Advice Resources team for an Information Officer. The primary focus for this role will be to develop our online content and produce resources aimed at older people, their families and carers

You’ll join our team and help us write, update, adapt and project manage our online and print materials. You’ll have first-class writing skills and be able to write clear, concise and creative text, presenting complex issues in an accessible and involving style. You will work on a variety of materials and projects, including website text, information guides, newsletters and media articles.

Required Experience and Attributes
Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to write clear, concise and creative text, tailoring it to different audiences.
Experience of researching new content areas and identifying issues for inclusion.
Experience of writing engaging and accessible copy for an online audience.
Creativity, including the ability to develop effective and creative consumer products.
Confidence in gathering feedback from older people through focus groups and questionnaires.
Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
Experience of effectively project managing multiple projects and tasks, working accurately, flexibly, autonomously and to deadlines.
Knowledge of the production of printed materials is desirable.
Knowledge of working to quality processes is desirable.
