Job Details
About us:
Calvert Communications are communications experts with a passion for community development. We act as the link between community and developer to create new places. We are a different beast to typical public affairs or political communications agency in that our goals are to be advocates for the property industry. We work with a great list of clients all bound by one goal; to make development happen and to ensure the UK economy is driven forward by a vibrant and successful property sector. We have taken on several high-profile clients and recently opened a Northern Office, and as a result a vacancy has opened up for a new member for our team.
The role:
This will be a paid three month internship. We are looking for a motivated individual willing to learn more about the world of public affairs and communications within the property sector. Previous work experience is not necessary and the role would suit a recent graduate or someone looking for a new career path. The role may include some travel to client meetings, and our Northern Office if and where required, but will be based at our Sloane Square offices.
There is every chance of this turning into a full time consultant role at the end of the internship.
Person Specification:
• An interest in public affairs, local government and property communications
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Publisher
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good telephone manner
Closing Date: 10 February 2017
Interview/Start Dates
We would appoint the successful candidate with a view to start in the role ASAP, with interview dates to be arranged upon receipt of applications.
