The Association for Decentralised Energy is the UK’s leading advocate for a more local, less wasteful, user-led energy system.

The position covers a wide area of public policy, including the electricity, gas and heat markets, renewables, energy efficiency, planning and infrastructure, and will involve working directly with senior industry players, government departments, local authorities, regulators, parliamentarians and ministers.

The energy system is changing, and this role will be at the forefront of helping energy users and the energy industry navigate these changes. The role will help develop solutions for local electricity generation, building energy efficiency, smart energy solutions and industrial, business and household heat supply.
