Job Title: Events & Marketing Manager
Working For: Newable
An excellent Events & Marketing Manager with a desire to learn more about marketing, events and communications is required to join Newable Innovation. Newable Innovation delivers and lead the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) programme in London. EEN helps ambitious businesses to innovate and grow internationally. Jointly funded by the European Commission and Innovate UK, our experts advise and connect those looking to commercialise ideas and succeed in new markets.
You will be responsible for planning, organising and supporting the delivery of training workshops, information events, business to business events, and inbound and outbound company missions. You will lead on the promotion and communications of Enterprise Europe Network in London, and on the updating and maintenance of the Enterprise Europe Network website. You will also be responsible for the promotion and co-ordination of the Innovate2Succeed programme - which is part-funded by the European and Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Innovate UK, the event organisation as well as some administrative work related to the programme. You will also be working closely with Newable Marketing and be responsible for updating and maintenance of the Innovation section of the Newable website.
You should be a graduate or equivalent with strong interpersonal, project management and organisational skills. You will also have excellent verbal and written communications skills, lots of initiative, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy and expanding team responsible for delivering an extensive programme of funding, innovation and internationalisation support for London based companies.
• Be able to undertake all administrative functions in support of the events marketing and communications function
• Skilled use of Microsoft suite of business applications and CRM systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident in directly dealing with partners and stakeholders
• Self-motivated and confident, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Ability to deal effectively with conflicting priorities
• Knowledge of European programmes is desirable
This is a fixed-term, one-year long position.
