An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Targeting Analyst to join the Contact Creator, Targeting, and Analysis team at Labour’s head office in London, helping to focus Labour’s election organisation and campaigning on the people and places we need to win. The post holder will support the work of the party in the analysis of demography, elections and campaigning, the production of strategies to target key voters, and the measurement and reporting of campaign progress and campaign effects, working with a range of standard database products and statistical tools as well as Contact Creator, the Party’s bespoke national voter database.

The successful candidate will have either academic understanding or practical knowledge of how political, commercial, or charitable organisations use prospect targeting and analysis of large datasets to improve and refine their targeting, and of how this can be translated into the political arena. They will also have a proven track record of highly proficient data handling, using advanced functionality, on standard Microsoft data applications such as Excel and Access and experience of analysing data and using analytical tools. The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed-term contract.
