Enfield Southgate Conservative Association is seeking to recruit a talented and motivated individual for the position of campaign manager. This is a key role ahead of the May 2018 Enfield Council and 2020 parliamentary elections. The successful applicant will report to the Association Chairman and work with councillors, the MP, candidates and volunteers to deliver a successful election campaign. The post would be ideal for any applicant wishing to pursue an early career in politics.

Specific responsibilities would include:

  • Day to day campaigning operations as directed
  • Building a campaign team by increasing volunteers' involvement
  • Delivery of the media and communications plan
  • Design and production of campaigning material
  • Delivery and distribution of campaign literature
  • Voter canvassing
  • inputting and updating data on Vote Source
  • Assisting with Election Day operations
  • Assisting with Association fundraising events and event co-ordination when required

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate that they are self-motivated, have a good eye for detail and possess the ability to produce high quality work against tight deadlines.  They will have excellent verbal and written communication skills together with a strong work ethic and be able to work as part of the ESCA team and with other local associations.  Familiarity with Publisher, Mail merge, Vote source and mail Chimp is desirable but not essential. A driving licence is essential as is also the ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays where required.

This is a full-time post, although we will also consider applicants who wish to work part-time.
