Job Details
Chris Evans MP is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to work as an intern in his Westminster Office. The position is part-time for three days per week for an initial period of 3 months.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in politics and current affairs with both excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting research
- Drafting responses to campaign and policy letters
- Various administrative tasks
This position would suit a recent graduate or an individual looking to gain valuable political and office-based experience.
Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.

The start date will be agreed with the candidate and interviews are likely to take place during the week commencing 20 February 2017.
