When cancer strikes young lives CLIC Sargent helps families limit the damage cancer causes beyond their health. We provide specialist support, to help and guide each young cancer patient and their family. We fight tirelessly for them, individually, locally and nationally, so that they can focus on the important things. You can now join their fight for young lives against cancer.

About the role
As part of a busy Policy and Public Affairs Team the Research and Policy Manager is responsible for leading CLIC Sargent’s research and policy work which is crucial in helping us create change for the children, young people and families they work with.

Managing the Research Officer and Policy and Public Affairs Officer you will help develop CLIC Sargent's campaigning work and ensure that the organisation's work is based on accurate and reliable evidence.

About you
You will have a proven understanding of quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies and experience of working in a policy role as well. You will also have experience in line management and excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external audiences.

This exciting role would suit someone who can pick up new things quickly, is happy to work on their own initiative and is passionate about achieving positive change for children and young people with cancer and their families.
