The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Policy Development Officer. The successful candidate will support engagement with internal and external stakeholders on policy development; promote understanding of Labour’s policy development processes; organise and deliver events and training; and produce and disseminate information about Labour Party policy to members, stakeholders and the public.

Key tasks will include: planning and delivering consultation events; managing Labour’s online policy hub, Labour Policy Forum; producing high quality written communications across a range of platforms; and assisting with the coordination of Labour’s democratic policy development process and structures.

The successful candidate will have experience of engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders, managing the delivery of projects and events to tight deadlines, and will have strong communication and organisational skills.
