Job Details

Are you passionate about health policy and public affairs? Ambitious and eager to work with and learn from people who have helped redefine health communications and the NHS landscape? Then the Incisive Health internship could be the right career move for you.

Incisive Health is a new health policy and communications consultancy, helping our clients to cut through the noise and competing health service priorities to deliver results that enhance their businesses, their reputations and – ultimately – improve healthcare for patients.

We are recruiting for a talented and hard-working intern to join a team that is determined to raise the standard in health policy and communications with every project we deliver. As an intern at Incisive Health you will be exposed to many different aspects of specialist health consultancy, including providing political and policy intelligence, assisting with client service, as well as supporting new business and marketing efforts.

The internship will offer outstanding opportunities for personal development. In addition to working as part of our team and participating in our sector-leading training programme, you will be expected to undertake a personal project, which will allow you to further your knowledge about a detailed aspect of health as well as to demonstrate your skills to our senior team.

The successful candidate will have at least a 2:1 undergraduate degree and will be able to demonstrate:

  • Keen interest in health policy and public affairs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of standard office software
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Capacity to work alone and as part of a team

Prior experience in public affairs, health policy and/or consultancy is desirable but not essential.
