Job Details

The International Press Foundation empowers the next generation of journalists to tell the stories that they think should make it onto the news agenda.

The platform acts as a tool for aspiring journalists to build their portfolio, as well as receive one-to-one feedback and guidance on their work. We work with our young journalists to identify issues that they want to report on, and then help put them in touch with relevant organisations and people to interview within their areas of interest.

Our reporters can write for one or more of the following sections:

  • Human Rights
  • Women
  • Environment
  • Politics
  • LGBTQ
  • Health

All IPF reporters write for us on a part-time, voluntary basis. Therefore, they are able to tailor the role around other work commitments.

NB: All IPF reporters must be aged 16-30.

W4MP Note:
The role being advertised is a voluntary one. As such, there are no set hours and responsibilities and you should be free to come and go as you wish. If the post demands set hours and/or has a specific job description you may be deemed to be a ‘worker’ and be covered by National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage legislation.
