NCS Trust is a non-profit community interest company that exists to shape, support, champion and lead a thriving National Citizen Service. We are working to make NCS available to every 16 and 17 year old in England, and more than 300,000 young people have taken part in NCS so far.

This full-time role will be responsible for coordinating and managing NCS Trust’s engagement with MPs from all political parties and civil servants throughout the year. The role will be responsible for communicating with the NCS network to create, manager and deliver a smooth process for MP engagement and visits to the NCS programme each year, alongside supporting the NCS Policy team.

The Political Engagement Executive will sit in the Partnerships team, reporting directly to the Events and Conference Manager.

Role Description
The Political Engagement Executive will:

  • Manage the process for logging political and MP engagement across the NCS network
  • Communicate with NCS Regional Delivery Partners to book visits to NCS Programme
  • Communicate with MP offices to confirm visits to NCS Programme
  • Travel to NCS Programmes across the country to support the delivery of MP and civil servants visits, ensuring a consistency of experience
  • Work closely with the NCS Graduate team to provide graduates and young people for political engagement events
  • Evaluate NCS political engagement across the year

Person Specification
Experience

  • Experience of working as part of an integrated team
  • Political party or parliamentary experience preferred

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
